Interior Ministry Inspects Readiness of Sana’a Inte’l Airport
Deputy Minister of Interior in Sana’a government, Maj. Gen. Abdulmajeed al-Mortada has inspected the readiness of Sana’a International Airport to receive flights in according to the humanitarian truce sponsored by the United Nations.
Maj. Gen. al-Murtada heard from undersecretary of the general authority of civil aviation Raed Taleb and director general of the Airport Khaled al-Shayef an explanation of the full readiness of Sana’a International Airport and the measures taken to start operating flights to and from the airport.
Al-Murtada stressed that the reopening of Sana’a International Airport is a great success in the framework of stopping the war and the unjust siege on Yemen.
He pointed out that the closure of Sana’a International Airport worsened the humanitarian and health conditions of hundreds of thousands of citizens and caused the death of hundreds of those whose health condition required treatment abroad.
