A Wave of Displacement of Saudi Princes from Riyadh

Saudi Arabia revealed on Saturday a wave of displacement of its princes from the capital, Riyadh.

This comes amid fears of the entry of new targets onto the list of Yemeni operations.

Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Saudi platforms on social media reported that the majority of the Saudi princes moved to the city of Jeddah on the Red Sea.

Those platforms reported the recording of the largest displacement operation of the members of the ruling family from the capital in the history of the Kingdom, noting that the majority of the princes rented ordinary residential villas and avoided staying in royal palaces in the city.

The sources attributed the reasons to the fears of the Saudi ruling family of the possibility that the Yemeni forces would include the royal palaces within their target bank.

Riyadh, in which the majority of the princes reside, has been subjected for days to waves of severe bombardment that hit important sites and facilities, among them Terminal No. 3 at King Khalid Airport, which is dedicated to the princes’ travel by air.

The reasons for the princes’ choice of the city of Jeddah are not yet known, despite Yemen’s announcement of safe areas such as Mecca, except that its location on the sea grants multiple options for escape in the event the situation worsens, according to experts, especially in light of the air ban.
