New naval operations in Yemen

Naval operations against foreign battleships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden continued on Monday, with a new operation being reported.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Maritime sources reported that one of the American battleships in the southern Red Sea came under a fresh attack by several drones.

The extent of the damage is yet to be determined, and no party has claimed responsibility.

This new attack transpires just hours after the US Central Command declared that a cruise missile had struck the battleship USS Laboon during its presence in the southern Red Sea.

The area south of the Red Sea has been witnessing undisclosed confrontations that have escalated following the American-British aggression against Yemen.

In the past two days, the UK Maritime Trade Operations has spoken of intercepting ships and various attacks in different areas of the Red Sea without any party officially claiming responsibility.

These recent operations, which targeted ships associated with Israel as well as American and British battleships, were described as the strongest since Sana’a announced its decision to ban Israeli navigation through the Red and Arabian Seas.

These operations have prompted military officials in Yemen to warn against the consequences of the recent American escalation.

Brigadier General Abdullah Amer, Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Directorate, considered the American-British escalation a threat to turn the Red Sea into a military conflict zone.
