Sana’a Forces declare engagement with the US Navy and hitting a warship
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Sana’a forces, revealed their engagement today with American battleships and warships in the Gulf of Aden and the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait while protecting two American commercial ships, confirming the hitting of a warship.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Brigadier General Saree affirmed that, as a result of the engagement, an American warship was directly hit, and the two American commercial vessels were compelled to retreat. He stated that the operation lasted for over two hours.
The spokesman for the Sana’a forces stated that ballistic missiles were used in the engagement, emphasizing that the missiles reached their targets despite attempts by the warships to intercept them.
He reiterated the commitment to “prevent Israeli navigation or any ships heading to the occupied ports of Palestine until the aggression is halted and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.” He also emphasized taking all necessary measures to defend their rightful cause by targeting all American and British hostile targets in the Red and Arabian Seas.
