An American revelation reveals the secret of keeping “Eisenhower” in the Red Sea despite its damage

The American defense revealed on Thursday the reasons for keeping the American aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” in the Red Sea despite its damage.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The American website “Business Insider” quoted a Pentagon official confirming their concerns about the repercussions of withdrawing what they described as a “striking force” from the Red Sea. They emphasized the need to keep that force for another month, indicating their fear of experiencing another setback for it.

The source expected that Yemeni operations against ships would increase in the coming period, citing a statement made by the American Director of Intelligence, Avril Haines, during a briefing to American lawmakers.

The American official pointed out that their country seeks to demonstrate the magnitude of deterrence in the region in light of the Yemeni operations.

These statements come in light of the confirmation of the damage to the American ship “Eisenhower” following Yemen’s announcement of targeting it twice earlier this month.

The US was forced to withdraw Eisenhower from its position in the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait to about 1,100 miles off the coast of Medina in the Red Sea, where a technical crew arrived to carry out urgent maintenance, according to previous media reports.

The aircraft carrier is part of the American fleet known as “Ike,” which was deployed last October with the Palestinian resistance’s detonation of the Al-Aqsa Flood and the declaration of Yemen on the front line. Since last November, it has attempted unsuccessfully to repel Yemeni operations against Israeli ships and those associated with them. It was later used in the American-British aggression against Yemen, which led Yemen to put American ships on the targeting list since January, culminating in the shelling of the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” itself.
