Escalation of confrontations in the Red Sea
The intensity of confrontations in the Red Sea increased on Wednesday, according to reports from US forces.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US Central Command confirmed in an update that its forces were subjected to a new drone attack, claiming to have intercepted three explosive-laden boats during the past 24 hours of confrontations.
American reports of intercepting three boats indicate that the attack was significant, especially since the US forces are accustomed to only showing off their achievements only and overlooking setbacks that reveal their weakness.
While Yemen has been launching attacks against American warships for months as part of its Gaza support that began last November, the recent attack is considered the largest, coming just days after a period of calm amidst reports of the absence of American and Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea.
These confrontations point to anticipated developments in the coming days, especially as they coincide with new movements in the file of Yemen, notably Washington sending a high-level delegation to Saudi Arabia in addition to Yemeni preparations to respond to the recent Israeli aggression on Hudaydah.
