Sana’a Government: American aggression is a desperate attempt to intimidate our people supporting the Palestinian cause
Hashem Sharaf Al-Din, the spokesman for the Sana’a government and Minister of Information, stated on Tuesday that the crime committed by the American-British aggression against the female students in Taiz “represents a dangerous escalation reflecting the frustration and failure of the American and British governments in protecting Israeli navigation in the Red Sea.”
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Sana’a government regarded the aggression as “a desperate attempt to divert attention from the failures of America and Britain” and “to intimidate our steadfast Yemeni people in their support of the Palestinian cause.”
It reiterated that “the Yemeni Republic, both leadership and people, are committed to their initial decision to stand with Gaza” and “will not back down from the moral and humanitarian stance towards Gaza regardless of the circumstances.”
The Sana’a government called on the international community to condemn the aggression, holding “the aggressor countries fully responsible for this heinous crime.”
The American-British coalition launched two airstrikes in Al-Jund, Al-Ta’iziyah District, near the Umm Al-Mu’minin Aisha Girls’ School in Taiz, resulting in “the martyrdom of two female students and the injury of nine students.”
