Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US Central Command reported in an update that American forces have activated the highest state of alert to defend what they described as American interests.
The command issued a statement regarding the latest confrontations with Yemeni forces.
The statement confirmed that American forces and battleships were attacked by around 20 air systems and cruise missiles launched by what they referred to as the “Houthis” in reference to a major battle that took place in recent days.
The statement also reviewed the recent American airstrikes, which involved air and naval assets, including B-2 strategic bombers.
The American announcement of the state of alert indicates expectations of major attacks from Yemen.
