Hamas-affiliated Health Ministry announced on Monday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 32,845 since the start of the war on Oct. 7.
According to a ministry statement, in the 24 hours until this morning, 63 people were killed, noting that the number of injured has risen to 75,392 people since the start of the war nearly six months ago.
The new toll was released hours after the Israeli army withdrew from the Shifa Medical Complex, following a two-week operation that saw heavy hostilities.
A spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza reported today that Israeli forces have killed about 300 people in and around the hospital over the past two weeks.
The Israeli military confirmed on Monday that it had killed about 200 people in clashes in the hospital area since it stormed it on March 18.
