Gaza: 70 martyrs in Israeli massacres, some of which targeted displaced people

70 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids in Gaza on Tuesday, including 57 in the northern enclave, which is under fierce attack amid ongoing siege and displacement.

Among the martyrs were eight who were killed in artillery shelling targeting displaced people in the Al-Alami area of Jabalya camp, in addition to a number of injuries, including serious injuries.

In another massacre, 12 martyrs and dozens of injuries were killed in artillery shelling targeting displaced citizens at a junction in Mashrou’ Beit Lahiya, while three martyrs were killed in the town of Beit Lahiya as a result of an Israeli raid.
Seven people were also killed in shelling on a school housing displaced people in Beit Lahiya.

A woman was also killed and a number of civilians were wounded in artillery shelling targeting the gate of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

A number of people were injured in artillery shelling and shooting from quad copter drones targeting the Beit Lahia project area, and led to fires in the place.

This came at a time when the Israeli occupation forces began to impose a tight siege on the Beit Lahia town project, as is the case in the neighboring Jabalia refugee camp, after warning the residents of forced displacement, while expanding the scope of the ground operation there.
