Genocide by starvation or bombs… Horrific details due to siege and massacres in northern Gaza
Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Director-General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned of the collapse of health conditions and the spread of famine amidst of the Israeli enemy army committing brutal massacres against displaced persons in northern Gaza, imposing an inhumane and unethical siege on hundreds of thousands of civilians, mostly women and children.
He said, the occupation is besieging hospitals, and the situation is catastrophic, especially in light of famine, adding, “We are coordinating to deliver fuel to hospitals and food to healthcare teams, but the occupation is preventing that.”
The Director General pointed out that “the Israeli occupation is committing massacres against Palestinians and besieging families in the northern Gaza Strip, and for 17 days, the number of martyrs in the northern Gaza province has reached 600.”
He indicated that “the Israeli occupation is working to displace Palestinians from the north Gaza province,” adding that “Israeli forces have completely besieging Al-Awdah Hospital.”
He explained that “the bodies of martyrs and the wounded on the roads and ambulances can’t reach them” due to the Israeli enemy army preventing them and directly targeting them in more than one location.
According to the World Food Program, “hunger will make winter more difficult for families in Gaza.” It mentioned that based on the “latest report confirms that more than 90% of Gaza’s population may face food insecurity.”
The program called for “an end to fighting in Gaza and the sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid.”
Palestinian journalist and Al Jazeera correspondent in northern Gaza, Anas Al-Sharif, mentioned that Israeli occupation forces are calling on the displaced people in the shelters to head towards the checkpoint, and those who take other paths are targeted by shells and drones.
He noted that even those who comply are not safe from shells and death, adding that what is happening now in the north is a massacre in every sense of the word.
The journalist Anas continued that the martyrs on the roads and the wounded are beyond the capacity of the healthcare teams to handle.
