American statistic on naval losses in confrontation with Yemen

The US revealed on Sunday a new statistic on the scale of losses incurred as a result of Yemeni maritime operations.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The American newspaper, The Washington Post, quoted American officials confirming Yemen’s targeting of around 200 ships over the past 13 months.

Among the two hundred ships, two were sunk, according to the sources.

Additionally, four sailors lost their lives in those operations.

This American statistic comes as November marks the anniversary of the beginning of Yemeni operations in support of Gaza.

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, stated in his recent weekly address that around 202 ships have been targeted in the past months.

Yemen has been carrying out ground and naval operations for nearly a year, targeting the cities of the occupation and linked ships.

The targeting of ships and the resulting damages are part of a long series of operations that have led to the closure of the most important occupation ports on the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, as well as the preventing of navigation in the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, and reaching the Mediterranean.
