One person killed and others wounded by Israeli bullets in the eastern Gaza
The Palestinian news agency reported on Sunday that one person was killed and others wounded by Israeli army bullets in the Shejaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The agency quoted unnamed medical sources as saying that the dead and wounded citizens were all from the Obeid family, and were shot at dawn by Israeli forces in the Shujaiya neighborhood.
For its part, the Israeli military announced that it had launched an airstrike targeting people who were planting an “explosive device” near its forces in the northern Gaza Strip.
An Israeli drone also fired on civilians in the Al-Zafaran area, east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to the agency.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced yesterday (Saturday) that the death toll from the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,453 since October 7, 2023, after 6 people were killed and a body was recovered from under the rubble. The ministry said in its statistical report that the number of injured reached 111,860.
