Resumption of U.S. aggression on Hudaydah
The U.S. forces resumed their aggression on the western coast of Yemen on Tuesday, coinciding with reports of the resumption of Yemeni operations supporting Gaza.
Hudaydah – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Media sources reported that U.S. fighter jets targeted the coastal city of Hudaydah.
The raid occurred in the Al-Kathib area near the port, and the extent of the damage is not yet known.
The U.S. raid is the first after more than a month of its cessation.
The raid comes at a time when reports have spoken of the targeting of the Yemeni maritime operations supporting Gaza with the end of the deadline set by Sana’a for the Israeli occupation to lift the siege on Gaza.
Although the U.S. raid is not new, as the U.S. forces have previously carried out dozens of raids over the past months of confrontation, the timing of the latest one suggests that it may be a response to the targeting of an American battleship, as the U.S. forces describe their raid on Yemen as defensive and in response to the targeting of their battleships.
Experts didn’t rule out the possibility that the Yemeni attack may have targeted the aircraft carrier “USS Truman,” which the U.S. forces have spoken about returning to the Red Sea after weeks of towing it for maintenance in the US.
