InastatementtothePalestinianInformation Center, Al–AjramiexplainedthatfivebakeriesinGazahavealreadystoppedworking,fourofthemintheKhanYunisgovernorateinthesouthernGazaStrip,andonebakeryintheBureijrefugeecamp in the middle of it.
Thereasonfortheclosureis due tothedepletion of cookinggas,whichsomebakeriesrelyontooperatetheirovens,intheabsenceofalternativesduetothesevererestrictionsimposedbytheoccupation.
