Since announcing its arrival in the Middle East a few days ago, the US Central Command has been broadcasting video clips on its official social media pages of what it describes as the work of the aircraft carrier “Carl Vinson” alongside the “Truman” aircraft carrier fleet originally stationed on the distant fringes of the Red Sea, and taking care in each clip to assure the viewer that “Vinson” has indeed arrived in the Red Sea. But today, after days, America reveals the location of the “Vinson” carrier, and the picture becomes clear regarding the possibility of America’s return to the Red Sea by force.

According to the Associated Press, the “Vinson” is currently stationed on the distant fringes of the Arabian Sea, close to the Omani coasts, and this is its final location, according to the American agency. This indicates several factors, the first of which is that America is no longer able to bring the “Vinson” into the Red Sea amid the recurring attacks there, and the other is that the possibility of this fleet participating in Yemeni operations from the sea has become small due to the great distance between the current deployment location and the northernmost Yemeni cities.

For nearly a full month, America has been waging its extensive campaign on Yemen, and it was supposed, according to the American perception, that the latter would surrender and that the new battleships would reach the Red Sea for another display. But the situation seems different, as America is unable to even station its new fleet at the closest point to the Red Sea, which places what remains of the battleships on its outskirts under the Yemeni siege.

This is not the first time that America has deployed battleships in the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean during its aggression on Yemen, which has lasted for more than a year. The Biden administration had previously sent the aircraft carriers Lincoln and Roosevelt in the hope of sending them to the Red Sea to replace the” Eisenhower, which had permanently left, but failed to achieve that.
