Major Yemeni escalation… Targeting an “Israeli” airport and two American aircraft carriers and downing an “MQ-9″—details

The Yemeni Armed Forces, during a massive million-man march in the capital Sana’a in solidarity with Gaza, announced a series of qualitative military operations against “Israeli” and American targets, in a clear escalation in response to the continued aggression on Gaza and Yemen.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said in the statement he delivered during the million-man march, “The Missile Force carried out a military operation targeting the vicinity of Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area with a “Zulfiqar” ballistic missile,” stressing that this operation comes within the framework of responding to the occupation’s crimes in Gaza.

He also announced the implementation of a dual military operation targeting the American aircraft carriers “Truman” and “Vinson” and their accompanying naval vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas,” noting that this targeting is the first for the “Vinson” carrier since its arrival in the Arabian Sea.

In the context of the ongoing confrontations, the spokesman for the Sana’a forces revealed the “downing of an American drone of the MQ-9 type while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of Sanaa Governorate,” warning that “the American military mobilization will only lead to more confrontations.”

Brigadier General Saree affirmed that “Yemen will not retreat from its position in support of Palestine,” stressing that “the continuation of aggression will only reap disappointment and failure” and that the American aircraft carriers “will not achieve what the previous four carriers failed to do.”

These operations come in the context of Yemen taking the lead in supporting the Palestinian resistance militarily and popularly, amid the escalation of American raids on the capital Sana’a and other governorates in an attempt to stop these operations.
