Gaza: Mass deaths in the Strip

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip demanded an investigation into the type of weapons used by the Israeli occupation, which cause the birth of deformed children, noting that the people of the Gaza Strip live in a triangle of poverty, bombing and hunger.

The ministry confirmed, in press statements, that the sector suffers from a severe shortage of capabilities, as 40% of medicines and 60% of medical supplies are not available, while only 20 hospitals operate partially, in exchange for 18 hospitals completely out of service. The remaining hospitals operate at only 30% of their capacity.

The ministry indicated that Gaza is currently witnessing mass deaths, and demanded that it be declared a stricken area and the necessity of urgent UN intervention to save the rest of the Strip.

She added that international organizations are unable to include stacked infant formula at the crossings, at a time when a grain of wheat or a medicine box has not been included in the Gaza Strip for two months. She indicated that 240 children were born and were martyred under the bombing, while 350 others died due to the air.
