Hebrew media: The air blockade strangles “Israel,” and Ben Gurion Airport faces an unprecedented crisis

Israeli media acknowledged that the Zionist entity is living under a strangling air blockade after international airlines canceled their flights to “Israel” throughout the current month, with warnings of the crisis extending to the summer season.

Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

An official at Ben Gurion Airport, in statements to the Maariv newspaper, confirmed that the airport may remain largely deserted throughout the summer due to the continued Yemeni missile threats, noting that foreign companies are “in no hurry” to resume their flights.

The official added that the discussions with these companies show that the return of air traffic will only happen in the event of a “peace agreement” or a “fundamental change in the security situation,” expressing his pessimism by saying, “Until today, it is clear that the airport will not return to its normal state in the near future.”

For its part, the Israeli Channel 12 stated that thousands of travel tickets are canceled daily due to the suspension of flights, while the official warned that the economy and tourism are suffering severe blows due to the continued missile threats.

He pointed out that the Yemeni military operations revealed a “vital weak point” in the Israeli air sector, threatening its collapse, noting that the repeated missile strikes have turned “Israel” into a dangerous destination in the eyes of global airlines.

It is worth noting that Ben Gurion Airport is experiencing an unprecedented crisis since the suspension of most international flights following Sana’a’s decision to impose an air ban on all the occupation’s airports, against the backdrop of the military escalation on Gaza.
