97martyrs and 440 wounded in Gaza in 24 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that 97 citizens were killed, including two who were pulled from the rubble, and 440 others were injured over the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip.

The ministry stated in its daily statistical report that “a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to the ongoing shelling and dangerous conditions on the ground.”

It indicated that the total death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 54,607 martyrs and 125,341 wounded, the majority of whom are women, children, and the elderly.

The ministry clarified that the death toll since March 18, 2025 alone has reached 4,335 martyrs and 13,300 wounded, in an escalation described as the most violent since the beginning of the war.
