The Saudi army renews its bombing of border areas, causing casualties
Sa’ada – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Saudi army renewed, on Wednesday, its attacks on the border areas of Sa’ada Governorate in northern Yemen, in a continuous violation of the truce announced between Sana’a and Riyadh since April 2022.
Local sources reported that the Saudi army shelled the villages of the Baqim border district with artillery, causing panic among the residents and material damage to property.
The sources added that an African migrant was injured by Saudi border guard gunfire in the Al-Thabet area of the Qataber district, where he was taken for treatment.
The border districts of Sa’ada, particularly Qataber, Baqim, and Shada, are subjected to almost daily shelling from the Saudi side, which has led to the fall of thousands of victims, both dead and wounded, in addition to widespread destruction of property and infrastructure, despite the continuation of political talks and efforts to calm the situation between the two sides.
