The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the death toll from Israeli starvation had risen to 239 Palestinians, including 106 children.
The ministry said in a statement that it had recorded four deaths due to famine and malnutrition within 24 hours. It explained that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 239, including 106 children, since October 7, 2023.
Deaths from famine continue despite Israel allowing the entry of limited trucks of goods and humanitarian aid about two weeks ago, most of which are stolen.
Recently, the World Food Program warned that a third of Gaza’s population has not eaten for several days, describing the humanitarian situation as unprecedented in its levels of hunger and despair.
Meanwhile, the United Nations confirmed that Gaza needs hundreds of aid trucks daily to end the famine it is suffering from as a result of the blockade and genocide.
