A Global Maritime Platform: Sana’a issues a new guide to regulating navigation in the Red Sea
The “Lloyd’s List Intelligence” platform (Lloyd’s List Intelligence), which specializes in maritime navigation and global maritime security, revealed that the authorities in Sana’a have issued a new guide to regulate the movement of ships in vital sea lanes in the region.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The platform reported in a report that the guide, entitled “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs),” aims to ensure “safe maritime passage” in the waters of the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.
The report explained that the new instructions include a requirement for ships heading to those areas to send their data 48 hours before arrival, a step that mandates global shipping companies to comply with these procedures.
