Saudi concern following Houthi warning

Saudi Arabia revealed new concerns on Saturday following the recent warning from the Ansar Allah leader.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Platforms on social media circulated video clips showing the establishment of new Saudi sites near the border with Yemen.

The clips show moments of bulldozers creating mountain positions and roads, while the platforms spoke of efforts to install new espionage and reconnaissance devices near Yemen.

The border areas have witnessed an escalation in the pace of clashes with border guards in recent days.

In recent days, Saudi Arabia conducted the largest maneuvers with American forces, designated to counter drone attacks, during which the latest defense systems were used, even though they did not protect Israel.

These moves come following the renewed warning from Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi to the Saudi regime.

In his weekly speech last Thursday, dedicated to commenting on developments in the region, specifically the Gaza war, Al-Houthi allocated space to talking about the Red Sea conference hosted by Saudi Arabia last week, which was dedicated to supporting factions loyal to it in Yemen known as the “Coast Guard.”

Al-Houthi stated that those moves will not protect the occupation and its ships from Yemeni strikes in support of Gaza.

In context, a member of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, threatened that any new aggression on Yemen facilitated by the UAE and Saudi Arabia would be met with an unprecedented response, and oil fields in both countries, which rely on oil, would be targeted.

The recent Saudi steps on the border reflect the extent of Riyadh’s fears regarding Yemen’s decision to respond to its hostile moves.

Over nearly eight years of war led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE with a coalition of 17 countries, Yemen succeeded in forcing both countries to retreat and conclude a truce agreement after strategic strikes on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and others in Abu Dhabi.
