The Ministry of Health in Gaza receives 30 bodies
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that it had received 30 new bodies of martyrs released by the Israeli occupation, through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). This brings the total number of bodies received by the ministry to 120 since the start of the operation.
In an official statement, the ministry confirmed that medical teams continue to handle the bodies according to established medical procedures and protocols, in preparation for completing the examination and documentation before handing them over to the victims’ families.
The ministry explained that some of the bodies received showed clear signs of abuse and beatings, in addition to traces of handcuffs and blindfolds, which the ministry described as reflecting “the harsh conditions the martyrs were subjected to before their martyrdom.”
The ministry added that four bodies have so far been identified by their families through an electronic identification link established by the ministry for this purpose.
The Ministry of Health affirmed that it will continue its humanitarian and professional work with utmost precision and respect for the sanctity of the martyrs until all procedures are completed and the bodies are handed over to their families, amid the difficult humanitarian conditions the Gaza Strip is suffering from as a result of the ongoing blockade and aggression.
