The bodies of the martyrs are frozen and mutilated

Sameh Hamad, a member of the Central Committee for the Management of Released Bodies, revealed shocking details about the bodies handed over by the Israeli occupation forces in recent days, stressing that every body that arrived bore horrific signs of torture that led to death.
Hamad said that the photos and scenes documented by forensic and criminal evidence teams “beyond human description,” pointing out that what the experts saw confirms the existence of a systematic Israeli policy of concealing identities and obliterating evidence.
Hamad, a forensic evidence specialist, explained that the bodies received by the Palestinian teams arrived in a state of deep freezing, reaching approximately 180 degrees below zero, and most of them were decomposed.
He added that every body was subjected to severe torture that led to death. He stressed that forensic medical examinations clearly indicate that a number of the martyrs were subjected to field executions after their arrest, in a blatant violation of all international laws.
He explained that the committee received 195 bodies from the Israeli occupation, through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), all of which arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in advanced states of decay and decomposition, making the process of examination and identification difficult.
He pointed out that the occupation did not include any lists of the martyrs’ names despite taking DNA samples from the bodies, which forced the committee to rely on primitive methods of identification, through direct examination of the families in the absence of immediate testing equipment. Hamad added that the bodies arrived in several batches since October 15th.
The first batch included 45 bodies with their hands tied, the second batch included 45 bodies with close-range gunshot wounds, the third batch included 30 bodies that showed signs of hanging and burns, and the fourth batch included 70 bodies that were crushed under the tracks of tanks and vehicles.
He explained that these bodies represent part of the 450 bodies that the occupation will release in accordance with the cessation of hostilities agreement, according to what the ICRC was informed of.
