The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that Israel continues its genocide in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Hamas, killing an average of eight Palestinians daily.
The Geneva-based human rights organization added in a statement that Israel “continues to impose devastating living conditions on two million Palestinians, preventing them from recovering from the effects of the humanitarian catastrophe that has persisted for more than 25 months, amid international silence and inaction in protecting and providing them with justice.”
The Monitor reported that since the agreement came into effect on October 10, it has documented “the continued deliberate killings perpetrated by the occupation army against Palestinians.”
It explained that the Israeli army kills an average of eight Palestinians daily and injures more than 20 others, while the comprehensive siege imposed on the Gaza Strip continues.
According to the latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Israel has killed 241 Palestinians and injured 619 others since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, in violation of the ceasefire.
