More than 70 martyrs in Gaza

More than 70 people were killed in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the death of 71 people and the injury of 153 others in the past 24 hours. This brings the total death toll to 52,314 and the injury of 117,792 since October 7, 2023, and to 2,222 and the injury of 5,751 since the resumption of the aggression last month.

Furthermore, the Government Media Office in Gaza warned of the catastrophic deterioration in health conditions due to the stifling blockade and the ongoing closure of crossings.

In a statement, the office indicated that the Strip is witnessing an outbreak of severe malnutrition, especially among children and infants, announcing that “the number of cases arriving at the remaining hospitals and medical centers due to severe malnutrition has reached 65,000, out of 1.1 million children suffering from daily hunger.”
