American preparations to expand the scope of Yemeni operations at sea

On Wednesday, the US revealed concerns about expanding the scope of Yemeni operations at sea.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The United States Central Command published photos of the process of loading ammunitions for F-18 fighter jets, which are specialized in countering drone and ballistic attacks, on an aircraft carrier.

The US Command stated in a post on its page that the ammunition is being loaded on board the aircraft carrier “Carl Vinson,” currently stationed in the Indian Ocean.

This is the first time the US Command has published images of this kind since US President Donald Trump announced the reaching of a truce agreement with the “Houthis.”

It is not yet clear whether the US forces are preparing to escort ships expected to cross the Gulf of Aden or the Arabian Sea, but the timing indicates escalating American concerns about the possibility of Yemen striking American battleships in the region.

During the past few hours, Yemen has launched a series of naval operations that have so far resulted in the sinking of two cargo ships involved in operating voyages to the ports of the Israeli occupation, in defiance of the Yemeni ban decision.
