Revealing the reasons for the UN summoning its employees in Sana’a
The UN revealed on Thursday the reasons for summoning its staff from the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Human rights sources reported that the summons came after the UN obtained documents incriminating a number of its employees in working for the Israeli Mossad.
The sources explained that the UN opened an investigation with a number of employees after summoning them from Sana’a, anticipating that the investigations would include all workers in UN organizations operating in northern Yemen.
The UN had disclosed Omani mediation to secure the release of a number of senior staff members from its offices in Sana’a following their investigation on grounds of involvement in espionage activities for the Israeli occupation.
A number of UN employee members had recently been recalled to “Tel Aviv” prior to the recent airstrikes that targeted the government meeting in Sana’a, resulting in the martyrdom of its head and a number of his companions.
Media reports stated that the UN transferred approximately 15 staff members from its organizations in Sana’a for investigation abroad.
It remains unclear whether Sana’a or other parties provided the UN with those documents, but the opening of the investigation confirms the Yemeni narrative regarding UN involvement in espionage for the Israeli occupation.
