Channel 12: The occupation raises alert to maximum on the border with Lebanon in anticipation of expected retaliatory attacks
Occupied Palestine – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Israeli Channel 12 announced today that the Israeli occupation has raised alert to maximum among its forces deployed inside Lebanese territory and along the border.
This military announcement came after the entity announced the assassination of a prominent leader in the “Radwan” unit in a raid targeting the southern suburb of Beirut.
According to Hebrew sources, the maximum state of alert comes in anticipation of “expected retaliatory attacks” by Hezbollah in response to the assassination.
The measures taken include canceling all public activities and gatherings in settlements and areas adjacent to the border with Lebanon, for fear of being targeted by rocket barrages or drone attacks, amid expectations of a harsh response from the resistance that may not be limited to the border but could extend to the depths.
The Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) continues to target occupation sites and gatherings with missiles and drones, affirming in consecutive statements that its operations come “in defense of Lebanon and its people.”
