A German attack on “Houthi” with the failure of the European mission in the Red Sea
On Tuesday, Germany launched an unprecedented attack on Yemen, coinciding with its confirmation of the failure of the European mission to secure Western ships following the escalation of Yemeni operations against Israeli occupation.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The German Foreign Minister criticized, during a press conference held in Jordan with her counterpart Ayman Safadi, what she described as “Houthi” attacks, calling for their cessation.
The German official stated that she is considering new sanctions against the marches, an attempt to blackmail Iran in order to pressure Yemen to halt operations against the Israeli occupation.
The German criticism of the “Houthi” coincided with the announcement by major German shipping company “Hapag-Lloyd” of extending the route of its ships through the Cape of Good Hope instead of the Red Sea due to what it described as ongoing tension.
The company confirmed in a statement the continued crisis in the Red Sea, clearly indicating the failure of the European mission to secure the passage of Western ships to Israel.
These developments are the first since the European Union decided to deploy a naval fleet in the Red Sea in February of last year as part of efforts to break the Yemeni blockade on Israel.
The statements indicate the failure of Western plans to halt Yemeni operations that targeted German, French, Italian, and Danish battleships during the past weeks of European deployment in the Red Sea.
