Al-Ruwishan: The ball is in Saudi Arabia’s court, and the lesson is in implementation, not in declaration
Sana’a Deputy Head of Government Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwishan confirmed on Wednesday that the implementation of the recently signed agreement on reducing economic escalation is contingent on Saudi Arabia’s commitment.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Al-Ruwishan stated that the announcement of the agreement is “just media talk so far,” indicating that “the airport remains closed, the siege is still in place, and measures against Yemeni banks are still in effect,” according to his statement to the Al-Mayadeen channel.
He considered that “talk of a positive agreement is only possible if what has been agreed upon is translated into implemented points on the ground,” adding that “the ball is now in the court of the Saudi side.”
The Deputy Head of Government of Sana’a for Defense and Security Affairs affirmed that Sana’a would continue to support Gaza and that all measures taken to obstruct the Yemeni stance against the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip have failed.
