Civil defense personnel resist with rescue

We carry out rescue operations while we are hungry. We retrieve the martyrs with trembling hands, not from fear, but from exhaustion. The reality in Gaza is beyond description. People are dying from bombing, from hunger, from oppression, from psychological trauma.

Medical and civil defense teams are working without food, without fuel, and without protection. The occupation prevents them from reaching the destroyed neighborhoods and from rescuing those still alive under the rubble.

Faced with this hell, this paramedic chose to go on a hunger strike… not only to protest hunger, but also in solidarity with the children of Gaza who cannot find anything to eat.
