Gaza Health: 4 Deaths Due to Hunger and Malnutrition

The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Munir al-Barsh, announced on Tuesday that four people had died in the past 24 hours due to famine, bringing the death toll since the beginning of the aggression to 394.
The health official warned of the danger of the continued closure of crossings and the prevention of the entry of food and medicine, stressing the urgent need to open safe humanitarian corridors to save hundreds of thousands of residents suffering from hunger and lack of medical care.
He added that most hospitals in the Strip are out of service, while a few are operating at limited capacity amid a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies.
He pointed out that Gaza City is the primary storehouse for medicines and vaccines, and that storming it poses a significant threat to the entire health sector.
He also noted that patients and the wounded in Gaza City face the risk of death while attempting to transfer them to the southern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing shelling and lack of resources.
