America rejects an Israeli distress call in Yemen

On Saturday, the US refused a new Israeli distress call in Yemen.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The US Defense announced its unwillingness to escalate in the Red Sea.

The Wall Street Journal magazine quoted senior Pentagon officials as saying that the US has not changed the position of its forces in response to what it described as the Red Sea attacks.

The statement from the US Defense Department came on the eve of the Israeli occupation government’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempt to undermine the truce agreement between Washington and Sana’a.

The Hebrew Channel Kan quoted unnamed sources confirming that Netanyahu received American promises to carry out an air operation against Yemen within the days that would follow his return from Washington.

Netanyahu had said he had asked the Trump administration to resume raids on Yemen.

The US had started a series of operations against Yemen since the beginning of last year as part of attempts to contain the Yemeni operations, all of which were unsuccessful.

Since Trump’s announcement of a truce after the “Truman” aircraft carrier was subjected to a series of attacks that resulted in the downing of F-18 fighters, the US has been avoiding provoking Sana’a for fear of the return of Yemeni operations against its battleships, as it had previously removed warships and ships close to Yemen, in addition to withdrawing strategic bombers from the Diego Garcia base in the Indian Ocean, which it had used to attack Yemen, with the failure of the naval confrontations.
