Civil Defense: No, a real Israeli withdrawal from the neighborhoods of Gaza

the civil defense spokesman in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, denied on sunday,  the news that the “Israeli” occupation had withdrawn from the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Tuffah and Al-Shuja’iya, east of Gaza City, stressing that these conversations are “completely untrue.” Basal explained in a press statement that what happened is a very limited retreat of the occupation mechanisms, which still cover the areas surrounding the fire up to Salah El-Din Street. And he warned that any approaching this street exposes the citizens to direct targeting. He said, “We warn citizens against trying to reach Salah El-Din Street, because whoever approaches there becomes an immediate target of the bombing without any mercy.” He added that there are signs that there are martyrs, injured and besieged in those areas, but the civil defense teams are completely unable to reach them, whether in coordination or without it. Basal called on the citizens, west of Salah El-Din Street, not to go up on the roofs, sit in front of their homes, or photograph the windows, in order to preserve their safety in light of the dangerous security situation.
