Save the Children calls on the British government to stop arms sales to Israel

Save the Children International condemned the British government’s continued arms sales to Israel and called on it to immediately suspend all arms shipments to the country.

In a statement on the X platform on Monday, the British organization stated that Israeli attacks targeting Palestinians on Sunday as they waited for water resulted in the deaths of six children.

The organization explained that the British people will not remain silent regarding their government’s continued arms transfers and complicity with Israel.

It added, “The British government must immediately suspend all arms shipments to Israel, including F-35 fighter jet parts used to kill and maim children.”

On Sunday, Israel killed 120 Palestinians, including children, waiting for water, and injured 557 others, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, as part of the genocide it has been perpetrating for 21 months.

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that Israel is waging a systematic war of thirst, committing 112 massacres against water-filling queues, resulting in the deaths of more than 700 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children, since October 7, 2023.
