Israel continued to perpetrate massacres in the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing genocide against the devastated Palestinian enclave for more than 21 months, violently bombing areas of displacement and humanitarian aid, killing dozens of people, including a family killed inside displacement tents. The Latin Monastery Church in Gaza City was also targeted in an airstrike. Since dawn yesterday, Thursday, and until the time of writing, 41 martyrs have been killed in Israeli airstrikes, according to Palestinian sources. During the Israeli genocide, the occupation bombed three major churches: the Church of Saint Porphyrius, the Church of the Holy Family, and the Baptist Church. Earlier, Mahmoud Basal, a Civil Defense spokesman in Gaza, told reporters at the Baptist Hospital that “the two martyrs are Saad Salama, approximately 60 years old, and Fumia Ayyad, approximately 80 years old, and they were killed as a result of the Israeli airstrike that directly hit the church.” Basal continued, “We bid farewell to two of our Christian brothers who committed no crime. The occupation does not differentiate between anyone; it targets Christians and Muslims, churches and mosques.” He noted that the targeted church houses approximately 400 displaced persons.
