A British expert warns: Renewed raids on Gaza restore fears of Yemeni attacks on Israeli navigation
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
With the renewed bombing of the Gaza Strip by the Israeli enemy, warnings have begun to increase regarding the potential return of Yemeni operations against “Israel” and ships linked to it in the Red and the Arabian Seas.
In this context, Martin Kelly, chief consultant at the British “EOS Risk Group,” specializing in maritime risk management, indicated that recent military developments might bring the danger of maritime attacks back to the forefront.
Kelly posted a tweet on the “X” platform, stating, “Israel’s resumption of its aerial operations against the Hamas movement increases the likelihood of the Houthis carrying out attacks targeting Israel or its maritime interests.”
He added, “The Houthis are closely monitoring Israel’s adherence to any truce or ceasefire, and they may seek to intervene or escalate whenever they deem it necessary,” making the maritime area susceptible to a new wave of security tensions.
