Deteriorating health condition: Five Gaza detainees from Israeli prisons arrive at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital

Five Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli prisons arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza on Tuesday evening.

Local sources reported that International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) teams transported the prisoners to the hospital for treatment and necessary medical examinations.

Sources indicated that the released prisoners are: Saadi Muhammad Saeed Hassanein (16 years old), Khader Omar Daoud Abu Muslim (47 years old), Ahmed Ali Ahmed Al-Astal (29 years old), Muhammad Ayed Hassan Al-Ghoul (38 years old), and Zaher Abdul Hamid Abdullah Abu Awda (51 years old).

The sources explained that the released prisoners arrived in poor health as a result of the torture, humiliation, and food deprivation they endured in detention centers.

The release of these prisoners comes as part of limited releases carried out by the Israeli occupation for a number of detainees from the Gaza Strip, after months of detention in Israeli detention centers and prisons, during which they were subjected to torture and ill-treatment, according to local sources.
