The OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians recorded a cumulative death toll of 276 Palestinians killed and 78 wounded between December 16 and 22, 2025. The Observatory specified that 14 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, and 47 others were wounded within a single week. Additionally, 15 bodies were recovered, and the deaths of 243 others were confirmed. In the West Bank, 4 Palestinians were killed and 31 wounded, and 14 children were assaulted. Furthermore, 67 Palestinians were killed in Gaza since the ceasefire.
Israeli occupation forces demolished 17 homes and displaced 100 Palestinians in Jerusalem. The cumulative death toll of Palestinians killed between October 7, 2023, and December 22, 2025, reached 72,044, in addition to 180,486 wounded across the Palestinian territories.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces destroyed two residential towers, bombed the Al-Samar intersection in Gaza City, and targeted a school sheltering displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. They also intensified their bombardment of eastern Gaza, where 67 children have been killed since the ceasefire.
Seventeen Palestinians, including four children, died in the Gaza Strip due to the severe cold and dire humanitarian conditions. The United Nations confirmed that 55,000 families were affected by the recent heavy rains.
While the World Health Organization confirmed that 1,092 Palestinians have died due to Israel’s continued refusal to allow medical evacuations since 2024, the organization warned of an imminent health collapse in Gaza.
A UN report stated that most of the Gaza Strip’s population suffers from food insecurity, while the occupying forces continue to impose restrictions on the entry of food, fuel, medicine, and mobile homes.
The total number of Israeli incursions into Palestinian cities and villages during the reporting period reached 336. During these incursions, 165 Palestinians were arrested, and 17 homes, a horse stable, a car wash, a barn, a container, and two agricultural water reservoirs were demolished. Among the demolished homes was a residential building in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, comprising 13 apartments and housing approximately 100 people. This demolition is part of an Israeli policy targeting the Silwan neighborhood, where occupation authorities seized a Palestinian home and allocated it to settlers. They also closed the “Noor al-Quds” schools and kindergartens there under the pretext of disturbing settlers, forcing the students to transfer to other schools without the parents’ consent.
In the context of attacks on children, Israeli occupation forces killed one Palestinian child, wounded eight others, and arrested four children within a single week. Settlers also killed a child in Bethlehem and attacked schoolchildren in the town of Yatta, near Hebron. A report issued by the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission stated that the number of children arrested by Israeli forces reached 1,650.
The report confirmed that the number of Palestinian detainees and prisoners in Israeli prisons is 9,300, a figure that does not include those held in Israeli military detention centers.
