Many of Yemeni cities witnessed on Friday rallies to denounce the continuation of the siege under the slogan “The siege of the American aggression coalition kills the Yemeni people.”
The capital Sana’a witnessed on Friday afternoon a mass rally to denounce the continuation of the siege under the slogan “The siege of the American aggression coalition kills the Yemeni people.”
The participants in the march chanted and raised slogans condemning the maritime piracy practiced by the “US-Saudi coalition” and the continued detention of oil derivative ships.
They condemned the Saudi coalition’s insistence on doubling the suffering of the Yemeni people by detaining fuel, food and medicine vessels in light of the shameful silence of the United Nations and the international community towards the policy of starvation and the denial of the Yemeni people of their rights guaranteed by laws, treaties and international conventions.
A statement issued by the mass rally considered the American blockade genocide and a war crime against humanity, committed by the Saudi coalition with the complicity of the international community and the United Nations.
The statement held America and the rest of the countries of Saudi coalition fully responsible, ethically and legally, for the damage, effects and humanitarian repercussions resulting from the continuation of the blockade.
The march’s statement affirmed that peace in Yemen will not be made through statements, but rather by stopping the war, lifting the siege and stopping foreign interference in Yemen’s internal affairs.
During the protest in the capital Sanaa, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that the Yemeni people stand today in various arenas to confirm their loyalty to their country and their cause and the blood of their martyrs.
“We are going on to defend our country and our dignity, and those who attack our country are foreign forces, and local mercenaries represent nothing for our people,” he said.
Mohammed Ali al-Houthi confirmed that the honorable sons of Marib are sincere in their orientation and association with the capital of the Republic of Yemen Sana’a.
“Saudi Arabia should defend itself at its borders, not in Marib, and Emiratis should go to their islands, which they claim are occupied by Iran, and face them there if they are men, “ he said.
“If Biden wants peace, he must withdraw his experts who are leading the battle in Marib, and the British must stop arming aircraft targeting our children in Marib and on various fronts.”
He pointed out that Marib was never a quiet front, and the Security Council has been silent since the beginning of the war and now the council wakes up today to call for an end to the fighting?
He explained that the population statistics that the international community is talking about in Marib are incorrect, and these are propaganda to collect aid.
Al-Houthi condemned the continued criminality of the enemy’s being against the Palestinians.
He also blamed the countries of Saudi coalition for the famine that Mark Lowcock is talking about, and he is also responsible for the blockade and the oil derivatives crisis.
Many other cities across Yemen such as Ibb, al-Jawf, Hajjah witnessed Mass protests called to end the war and siege on Yemen.
