Sana’a Telecom Launches Mechanism to Separate Tasks of Network Owner, Service
The Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology in Sana’a government, Misfer Al-Numair, on Wednesday inaugurated the mechanism for separating the tasks of the network owner and the service in the branches of the Public Telecommunications Corporation in the capital and the provinces.
At the inauguration, the Minister of Telecommunications stressed the importance of bringing the corporation’s services closer to the subscribed citizens according to a fast and high-quality mechanism.
“The tasks between the owners of the network and the service must be highly responsive to solve the problems of subscribers in record time and specific controls and standards, in a way that meets the aspirations of citizens, and the continuity of communication services,” Al-Numair said.
He added that the Telecommunications Corporation and its technical cadres are concerned with working on repairing and improving the infrastructure non-stop.
The Telecommunications Minister praised the cadres of the Corporation, who work around the clock in the field, urging that more efforts be made to maintain the Corporation infrastructure, in coordination with other service agencies.
