Killing and injuring American soldiers in the widest Yemeni attack on battleships in the Red Sea

Several American soldiers were killed and injured on Saturday in a wide-scale attack launched by Yemeni forces against American battleships in the Red Sea.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The US Navy admitted the death of one soldier, while other Western sources reported injuries to three others.

Although the US Navy attempted to camouflage the operation by claiming that the soldier fell from the USS Mason destroyer, Western military sources revealed that the soldiers fell as a result of the destroyer being targeted by a drone.

The US Central Command confirmed in a statement that its battleships in the Red Sea were subjected to a wide-scale attack with drones and ballistic missiles.

The US command claimed in its statement that it had shot down four missiles out of five and five drones out of six, but Western sources confirmed that the number of missiles and drones launched by the Houthis exceeded twenty.

This is the first time that American soldiers have been killed in Yemeni attacks, and the timing indicates Yemen’s decision to shift its maritime attack strategy against the American-British aggression, especially since the recent wide-scale operation came after a series of airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, which resulted in casualties.
