Yemen’s decision to upgrade naval operations raises concerns of three Western capitals
The Tripartite Alliance in the Red Sea expressed concern on Monday with Yemen’s announcement of entering a new stage of Gaza support operations.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Hebrew, British, and American media outlets devoted wide coverage to the repercussions of the Yemeni operations, particularly the naval ones.
In Israel, the Hebrew media focused on the repercussions of the closure of the port of Eilat and the shift in the course of Yemen’s naval operations all the way to the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea, and the confusion it caused to the naval operations heading to the occupation’s ports and their future in light of the failure of attempts to contain them militarily.
In Britain, the media, most notably the “New York Sun” newspaper, focused on the consequences of the failure of the Allies “America-Britain” in facing the toughest test in the Red Sea.
In America, the media also devoted space to discussing the developments of the naval operations in Yemen, their dimensions and complexities, and the future of navigation in light of the imposition of a new fait accompli.
Although Yemen has been carrying out operations in support of Gaza since November 2023, reaching the extent of sinking ships involved with the Israeli occupation and burning others, the focus of these media outlets on the operations coincides with the announcement by the Yemeni forces of a new stage of naval escalation, which, according to experts, reflects the scale of concerns about the anticipated operations, which may take on new dimensions and forms.
