Women’s International Day, 155 Yemeni Women Killed and Injured by Cluster Bombs
115 women were killed and injured during the period 2015 to 2022, as a result of the coalition’s cluster bombs dropped by its warplanes during its war on Yemen in various regions.
The Executive Center for Mine Action stated that it had monitored the death toll of (36) women, while the number of wounded women reached (76), the outcome is not final, calling on the “international community to stop these violations against Yemeni women.”
In a report issued on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the center considered that “women are exposed on a daily basis to violations by the war coalition on Yemen, by continuing to be bombarded with internationally prohibited bombs on a daily basis in various Yemeni provinces, in light of the suspicious silence from the international community.”
