Al-Azzi: The continued closure of Sana’a Airport completely contradicts peace

The Saudi-Emirati coalition’s persistent limitations on Sana’a International Airport during the “de-escalation phase” are entirely incompatible with peace, according to Hussein al-Azzi, Sana’a’s deputy foreign minister.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Al-Azzi affirmed in a statement to Al-Masirah channel that any talk by the coalition about peace while maintaining the blockade on Sana’a Airport is illusory, pointing out that “civilian airports remain open in times of peace or war, and the continued blockade of Sana’a Airport by the coalition is a disgrace to the international community.”

The Minister of Transport in the Sana’a government stated earlier today that “every time we make progress in expanding air flights to and from Sana’a Airport, this is obstructed by the other party.” Currently, the coalition allows only three flights per week, which has doubled human suffering in light of the difficulty of patients traveling.
