The United Nations officially announced, on Saturday, the launch of the seventh round of prisoner negotiations between the Yemeni parties.
The UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grodenberg, revealed that the new round of Yemeni negotiations hosted by the Swiss capital, Geneva, comes as a continuation of previous rounds, expressing his hope that the Yemeni parties will fulfill what they agreed upon regarding the release of detainees.
The Yemeni delegations arrived in the Swiss capital during the past few days amid expectations of a new breakthrough.
It is expected that the new round will discuss the obstacles of the last deal that was arranged to be implemented in the Jordan negotiations, and it was obstructed.
