Yemen is a new variable that worries the occupation entity and its supporters
The occupation’s ongoing brutal massacres in the Gaza Strip raise the prospect that the war in Palestine will expand into a regional war that ignites the entire region. The axis of resistance affirms that it will not stand idly by, and all options are on the table, including direct military participation alongside the resistance factions. This poses a headache for the occupation entity and its supporters.

Washington claims to have deployed two aircraft carriers to the Mediterranean Sea, and American media reports mention Secretary of State Antony Blinken requesting Qatar to inform Hezbollah of the necessity to avoid escalation and widening the battle. This is accompanied by warnings against the intervention of any state or non-governmental entity alongside the Palestinian resistance. However, these threats return as they did, and a Pentagon official says that we are repeating the threats because the parties concerned are not responding.
All eyes are now focused on Hezbollah, based in southern Lebanon (north of the occupied territories). Iran’s Foreign Minister quotes its Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, stating that all options are available to respond to the foolishness of the Israeli enemy. However, there is another variable that enters the equation with effectiveness, influence, and decisiveness in decision-making: Yemen, the country that has endured war for nine years and created a balance of deterrence and more in the face of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia and supported by the US.
Yemen enters the equation with all its possibilities, as the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, declares that Sana’a stands with the Palestinian resistance with all its capabilities. He emphasizes that there are red lines, and if the Israeli enemy crosses them, Sana’a will launch its missiles and drones and will look into options to alleviate the oppression on Palestinians, rather than just being prepared to send hundreds of thousands of fighters if the opportunity arises.
According to American media outlets like Foreign Affairs, these statements have raised concerns in Washington and are a sign that the war in the region will be comprehensive.
The Americans and Israelis realize that Sana’a’s hand is light on the trigger, and its arsenal of missiles and drones enables it to strike vital targets of the Israeli enemy entity on Palestinian-occupied territories or even target the Americans in the region if they dare to directly participate in the war. The strikes against the oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and the American Al-Dhafra base in the Emirates serve as evidence of this power’s efficacy. Sana’a has done it previously, and its operations against the UAE at the beginning of 2022 were a real-world experience that worried the entity, considering it a message that Eilat is not far away.
Because the Americans are aware of this, the Third Fleet announced the deployment of the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier to the Indian Ocean. Meanwhile, information suggests American efforts to escalate the situation in Yemen in order to confound Sana’a and prevent it from supporting the Palestinian resistance. However, these steps can’t succeed in dissuading Sana’a from its position.
A military source told Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni: The Americans are shooting themselves in the foot by pushing towards escalation. As for the battleships and aircraft carriers, the Americans have tried them throughout the nine-year war in Yemen, and they have not succeeded.
